Funky Ferrofluids

Here is a selection of some colorful photographs. The shapes are achieved by an experimental mixture of ferrofluid and colored water. Ferrofluids are liquids that react to external magnetic fields and then take on the most amazing shapes. The photographs are made by the Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner.
